As the title says OBS classic (and also OBS studio in the latest version) is crashing while i record Forza Horizon 3 on my main screen (i use the screen record function because OBS doesn't find Forze Horizon 3 as an actual running application)
The module that caused it is the kernelbase.dll
I already looked for the "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372)" that can cause it but it's not installed and i'm afraid of destroying my system by changing a system registry file.

One thing that i mention is that this problem comes with the latest NVIDIA GeForce driver versions that are required for Forza Horizon 3.
So either i use an older driver and Forza crashes or i use the latest driver and OBS crashes.

Here are the crash logs:

I hope there is a fix for this or an update will be released in the near future.

o.k., but Studio crashed too.
To be more exact the recording was aborted by OBS after a random time, e.g. after a couple of seconds (that was before Forza got some updates) up to 30 minutes now, the preview froze and no crash report was created.
I looked in the folder AppData/Roaming/obs-studio/crashes and it's emtpy and i never ever have deleted files there since i installed it. I have reading the
The created file was corrupted and i can't view or edit it.

Later i will make some tests with OBS Studio after analyzing this thread for a possible solution:

Do you have an idea what the source of this problem can be and are you already working on it?
