Bug Report OBS causing WoW to crash

So OBS appears to be crashing my World of Warcraft. I'll be streaming for a few minutes and then WoW will lock up and say "The Program has stopped responding". I haven't played WoW in 8 months and the last time I remember playing, this was a problem back then too.

A few weeks ago I began playing again and streamed with OBS with no problems. Today there was an update for OBS so I installed it and now WoW begins to crash while streaming. Does anyone know why this is happening?

The only update we had any time recently was to a text file, not the binaries, so nothing has actually changed.

Are you using game capture? If you are, make sure you don't have any other conflicting hook programs open with it, such as other capture programs, programs with overlays such as teamspeak/mumble, graphics card utilities, or graphical modification utilities.

You may also want to try setting world of warcraft to run on directx 9 if it's running on directx 11, or vise versa. If none of the above apply then that one can often help.

I do use one program sometimes, but I uninstalled it because I thought it may be causing the crash, which changes the look of your in-game character. I figured this must be the case, but I see plenty of streamers using it that also use OBS and they have no problems. I'm gonna try and stream today for sometime and see if my WoW does not crash. I'll also try changing it to directx 9 too.
