Question / Help OBS causing Texture map failed error, DayZ

When streaming DayZ, I get a Texture Map failed failed error. It happens every single time, always within like 10 minutes or less of gameplay.

Log file: https://gist.github.com/2dc4d931a0aa01ddface

i7-2600k - OC 4.5ghz
GTX 980 OC 1500/3800 driver 344.48 ( was getting this on 344.16 as well )
windows 7 64bit
8GB ddr3 2133

OC's are stable I can run benchmarks for hours or other games without issue. I can play DayZ without streaming just fine but when I try to stream with obs I get that error every single time in less than 10 minutes.

I should prolly mention I can stream other games just fine without that error so I don't know what's going on.

Interesting. It worked after I changed back to defaults on the card. I don't understand why I would be getting that error with a stable OC though. I know that OC I use is stable, I ran valley benchmark 1.0 for 2 hours straight and it was stable. Also I've streamed other games like watch dogs and didn't get this crash with the OC enabled.

I am using evga Precision X 16 v 5.2.3 to overclock the card so maybe that program is causing a conflict with dayz and obs or something.

This OC is definitely stable though, so something needs to get fixed with OBS.

If it works when you're at stock speeds and doesn't work when you overclock then that 1) doesn't sound like a stable overclock, and 2) isn't something broken in OBS that needs to be fixed.

What kind of joke post is this? Yes the OC is perfectly stable. There is obviously something wrong with OBS as I shouldn't be getting this error, like I said I don't get this error on other games only dayz. I get absolute 0 issues with this OC on the card in any game I play.

Fix your crappy software. If you don't like my feedback then man up because there is absolutely nothing wrong with my OC so do not defend something that is obviously broken with this software. Thank you.

Your video card is not stable with the OC, no matter what you think. OBS is asking it to map a texture and it's crashing. OBS stresses your video card in ways benchmarks will not, since it uses shared textures and other lesser used DirextX features to ensure high performance. The fix is to lower your OC until it is stable as there's nothing that can be fixed in OBS.

I'd try to be more polite and respectful to someone who is offering to help you for FREE on a FREE program. If you don't like their 'broken software' you're free to use something else.

Hi, I'm currently having the same issue (OSB causing texture -->map failed error) while running League of Legends.
Current specs are:
i7-5930k
EVGA GTX TITAN Z Superclocked (driver version 344.65 [Latest])
16GB 2133DDR4
Windows 8.1 Pro (x64)

Everything is running at stock speeds and settings.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
