Question / Help OBS Causing steam game crash

Well something odd you could do would be to get a capture card even though in any other situation I would NEVER recommend a capture card for a single PC setup. to me that should be a last resort because you'd literally be buying a capture card for an 10+ year old game

Yeah i mean there are some not so bad ones out there that have a 30 day return so if what i'm doing now somehow doesn't work then maybe that's my answer but the mechanics on the steam version of this game make speed running so much better.

I think I've figured it out and probably the only way to do it I'm capturing it through Dxtory and running it as a video device on Xsplit (OBS keeps crashing and just wont work) and it outputs fine. I still have to deal with the clunky full screen but i can deal with it as long as this will let me stream to twitch.

I ended up getting it working and it works nicely. I know you probably don't care for speed running this random as hell game but you can check out the quality at twitch.tv/thetechjunkie :)
