Hey OBS Forums,
I've been a user for a few years now and kept quiet, lurking at posts from the dark and solving problems as they come up. Overall, I've never really had an issue with the program while playing, recording and streaming video games to my pages the past few years. However, that changed last month with Fallout 4.
Like many, I bought Fallout 4 for my PC - and I was hyped to stream it. But, when streaming it on launch night I noticed a micro-stutter despite keeping a solid 60 FPS according to my Steam FPS overlay (and FRAPs - for another testing avenue). Naturally, I thought it was due to the graphics being too high - however, even at the lowest possible settings? I get the stutter whenever OBS is open. When I close OBS? It goes away completely.
Since I'm waiting to stream Fallout 4 until I get this fixed, I'd love to get some input from you guys about what to test. I am new to these forums though and going through final exams - so please keep that in mind when asking for information.
I've uploaded a log from 12:50 EST today, when I was last trying to figure the problem out.
Thanks so much guys, hopefully we can knock this out.
