Question / Help OBS causing high ping.

If you have high ping in your game while streaming, you should definitely use "minimize network impact" in broadcast settings, as it's designed to reduce that exact problem.

For some reason this didn't help at all. :(

Then you are probably just using too much bandwidth and it's affecting your game. I would recommend turning down the bitrate in OBS to give league of legends a bit more room to breathe.

Is that in the encoding settings?

Okay so the ping problem is fixed, but my problem now is OBS is skipping frames and the stream is really laggy for other people. My FPS is fine in-game and so is my ping but yeah that's happening.

The skipping frames is most likely due to the fact that you are running a higher definition resolution for your stream -- I would recommend using more downscale in order to reduce the resolution, and thus reduce the CPU usage as well, because you only have 2 physical cores.

If you do not want to turn down your resolution, you can change the x264 CPU preset in advanced to 'superfast' or 'ultrafast' to reduce CPU usage as well, however it will reduce quality. It'll probably be better just to use more downscale instead of this option, but I would experiment with both and see which you like better.
