Question / Help obs capturing elgato

i connected my elgato to my n64 and it running on the program game capture HD. but when i go to my obs to add sources and add game capture it does show up just a black screen. but i can see the game playing on the elgato game capture program.

Don't use game capture on the elgato software.

Close the elgato software entirely and add the elgato as a video capture device.

OMG your a life saver lol and how do i stretch the image on video capture so i dont get black bars

right-click the source -> position/size -> fit to screen.

Also, your obs log is missing critical parts for me to help beyond that.

thx i just use the shift ctrl and alt to fix the layout but thx man for all your help

I wouldn't do that. That causes picture distortion.
