OBS Can't Stop Recording

I've been recording gameplay for years on my computer and never had this issue arise. A few weeks ago, all of a sudden, I could not open Minecraft and OBS at the same time - It would immediately cause minecraft to crash (I have OBS set to record Minecraft as a game output, IDK if this affects it). I couldn't find anything online about it, so I updated my graphics card drivers to the newest optional version to see if it would fix it. It did, sort of. A new issue arose another week later. Now, I cannot stop recording. When I press stop, OBS cannot stop, and if I force stop the recording, it cannot stop it. It goes forever. I read other threads on this, but none of the solutions worked. I tried changing encoder settings, encoder speeds, switching from hardware to software, changing the file type from MP4 to MKV - absolutely nothing works. I have lost multiple hours of game play footage now. In one of the other threads, a commenter suggested to the original poster that their computer simply cannot handle OBS, but I know this isn't true because I've never had this issue in the past, even for 2-3 hour long recordings, and I pulled up task manager during and after recording to double check. MY CPU usage rarely ever exceeded 15%, and my GPU usage peaked at about 45%. My Ram usage maxed out at 40% (OBS only used like at most 100mb of that 40%, 2gb were from minecraft and the rest was just my computer's other stuff). For context, I have an RX 480 GPU, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and 32gb of DDR4 Ram.

Seems really odd for the hardware using x264 or the amd encoder thing although the GPU is only 4gb vram but still it should be okay unless you were maxing it out with Minecraft(but you mentioned GPU usage was only 45% so.. nah).

Anyways the logs clearly show some issue with minecraft game capture... its mentioned a few times - I see java mentioned.
"[game-capture: 'Minecraft'] gl_shtex_init_d3d11_tex: failed to create texture (0x80070057): The parameter is incorrect."

What happens if you stream the newer versions? I know its not the same as to what you use on minecraft but I just want to know what happens with OBS with the newer MC versions you testing it.

I am recording the newest version of Minecraft. I've been for months with no issue until this past week or so. I've recorded Minecraft in versions 1.8 up through 1.18 with no issue until now. BTW, rolling back my graphics card drivers to the recommended version instead of optional and re-installing OBS (yes it was already up to date) allowed me to record for about 45 minutes before I started losing footage. So I guess I'm getting somewhere?

Heres the Log file from my most recent recording (I think, sometimes it appears to make two log files) - https://obsproject.com/logs/UBbosJCSHOgN6gea

Thanks for the help, this is really frustrating.
