When updating to OBS Build 32, the Advanced Audio Settings toggle for setting an audio source to “Monitor and Output” does not function as intended and appears to be broken.
Expected behavior:
When an audio source is set to Monitor and Output, the audio should be sent to both the monitoring device and the final output (recordings and live broadcasts).
Actual behavior:
In OBS Build 32, enabling Monitor and Output sends audio only to the monitoring device. The audio is muted in the final output and does not appear in recordings or live broadcasts.
This issue does not occur in earlier versions of OBS. In Build 31.1.2 (the last release prior to Build 32), Monitor and Output works as expected, correctly sending audio to both the monitoring device and the final output.
This regression in OBS Build 32 results in unexpected and incorrect behavior, resulting in a detrimental impact to more advanced complicated broadcasts, and should be considered a critical bug that requires resolution.
