[OBS blackscreen] [MSI GE66 laptop] [OBS 27.1.3] Two trials with Nvidia setting and Graphic Setting not success.

Dear OBS supporters and OBS users,

I am having a black screen with OBS screen recording. This is recording during normal use- no gaming at all. When the laptop first boot up, sometimes OBS can see the display. However, very soon - normally after 5 mins, it becomes black. In other times, it got black right after boot up. Once the screen is black, it will never back to normal. Reallly Struggling this issue ....hiz hiz ..... Please help !!!

+ Laptop: MSI GE66
+ One external LCD screen connected via HDMI port.
+ Windows 10
+ OBS: 27.1.3 (64 bit)
More information is in the attached log.

I have done the suggestions in https://obsproject.com/wiki/Laptop-GPU-Selection-Windows-10 and https://obsproject.com/wiki/Laptop-GPU-Selection-Nvidia . To be more detailed, I have tried below ways

1) trial 1: Graphics setting: power saving NVDIA control center: integrated ==> Not working

2) trial 2: Graphics setting: High Performance NVDIA control center: High -perfomance ==> Not working

I also try to run OBS as admin; but no success.


Please help to give me some suggestions to solve this. I love the OBS, it works really well until I hit this black screen.

One more thing I want to add, I have tried this : disable on-board video card OR discrete video card. Meaning that I only keep one video card, then open OBS . But the issue still there, so strange. ....

Sorry, what do you mean by "privacy enhancers" , where is it ?
About "registry cleaners on your system" , I think it is not necessary since this is a fresh windows install.

The errors in the log are consistent with some core windows services being disabled and breaking display capture.
 
This the log of the success case. In this log. I open OBS right after Windows is started up. Again, one external LCD is connected via HDMI.

I hope the log in the pass and fail case will help to give you some hints.

After I finished typing the previous post. I closed OBS. Then opened it again. Then it got black screen.
Attachment is the log.

Now, I am very sure that I don't have different settings between the pass and fail case. ( 2021-11-28 15-51-16.txt vs 2021-11-28 15-47-24.txt )

How to solve this OBS issue ?
