Question / Help OBS Black screen with M14XR2 alienware.

I have an alienware M14XR2 And it has an intel integrated video card and a geforce discrete video card. I am familiar with the obs FAQ on laptop and dual video cards however when i try to use the solution it recommends it does not fix the issue. so after many different test and changes i figuered out if i set OBS.exe to use the integrated video on the 3D setting these are my options under video settings and both of them will grab the video im trying to capture. however i want to use the high performance geforce video card with obs so i goto the 3D settings and set OBS.exe to the nvidia card and these are the options now except neither of them will grab the video i want to capture. if anyone has any advice it would be hugely appreciated.

Are you using game capture to capture your games? Because that's the only way you will be able to capture your game after following the instructions in the laptop FAQ.
