Question / Help OBS Audio Slider Making No Adjustments

Set Up:
  • PC (or PS4) linked to dedicated streaming PV via HDMI cable into AverMedia Live Gamer HD
  • USB Headset with optical in option
I have tried setting desktop sound default device to headset and also to headphones.

I have tried setting Audio Option in OBS to coincide with whatever desktop sound I select.

No matter what I do I cannot adjust the game volume via OBS.

Any advice?

If you are using a capture device, you need to use the volume slider that's in the source's properties rather than the ones on the main window. In future versions we'll have a mixer in the main window that will include all sources to fix this issue.
