I don't know where you saw that, but it's VERY wrong. OBS works just fine with a decklink duo2.I can see that this card may not work with OBS
Harold, I have the decklink duo2 configured as 4 SDI inputs (I just need 3). One input is from a PC video source via HDMI to SDI conversion. That comes in fine as a BlackMagic Capture Device on input 4. The other 2 inputs are PTZOptics 30x cameras. When I try to add them in OBS as BlackMagic capture devices, they don't show up at all. What am I missing?Adding a decklink duo2's source to OBS is actually simple.
Make sure no other program is using the chosen channel and add it as a blackmagic device source to obs.

That version is 12.7.1. But it turned out my issue was with the PTZ Optics cameras, which output either HDMI or SDI but not both, and they default to HDMI. I changed the camera's video encoder settings from HDMI to SDI and then the blackmagic SDI card got the video signal. What version number of the blackmagic desktop video software do you have installed?
