Hey there,
I'm a game dev streamer on Twitch and just today when I decided to do a Monitor capture for my viewers to see Autodesk Maya (2015), OBS and Maya have seemed to stop playing nice and causes my system to completely freeze (Windows). I receive no error messages or bluescreens or things of that nature.
I realize that OpenGL causes issues with Window captures, which is fine. I had been using Monitor capture for months with Maya with no problems. It seems that out of the blue this has become a problem.
After this has happened I have made sure my GPU drivers were up to date, checked updates for OBS, and tried switching to the alternative method of capturing (windowed). It seems that, no matter what, if Autodesk Maya and OBS are running together in either live recording mode or simple preview mode, my entire machine locks up and forces me to do a hard shutdown.
I have a log report here, but I have so many that its possible this may be the wrong one. If need be I could create another crash instance and upload a completely fresh one to make sure I'm producing the exact scenario.
Thanks very much for your time :>
