I'm trying to set up my stream using a laptop. The laptop is capable of handling streaming games.
geforce gtx 870m 3gb
16gb ram
intel i7-4810mq
I've gone on several forums and all have stated that my laptop should be suitable for streaming as long as the settings are correct. The problem happens as I'm previewing my stream. I don't see anything being previewed at all. Basically every time i hit the preview button OBS starts to freeze and then inevitably crashes disabling me from viewing what the stream would look like before it goes live.
