Dear experts,
I have been using OBS for quite some time, together with the virtual-cam plugin. Today I wanted to install the latest version 26.0.2 on Win 10. To be sure I do it cleanly, I first uninstalled OBS and also the virtual-cam plugin. However, now the OBS installer crashes right after I confirm the install path. Windows just says "OBS has stopped working" (it is the installer, not OBS!), but there is no further information. I also find no crash log. I initially used the 64bit installer, but the same happens with the 32bit version as well.
Is there any way how I can find out what is happening?
I have tried to just download the zip-file with the binaries and I can run OBS from there. However, the virtual cam does not seem to be set up - I cannot find in in MS Teams.
I would very much appreciate any help - I need this setup for my work urgently, and I don't know what to do.
Thanks so much,
Sven
