Had this issue myself so I read up on it.. Turns out if you have Optimus with built-in and a dedicated graphics card you need to force either one of them in your driver's control panel. Example would be the nVidia control panel, going to the 3D settings and forcing the game you wish to play onto the dedicated card. This solved my problem at least! Cheers.
