Question / Help Nvidia Nvenc

Hi, first sorry for the english, i'm french. So my question is, when im playing a game that not use SLI profile, or dont need the power to, could i use the second gpu for encode with Nvidia Nvenc ? If yes, how do i set up OBS for use the second GPU. Thanks for reading

go to settings, then video. you can select what GPU to use with OBS. select the one your not using, and you should be good (Im fairly sure at least. I dont run SLI myself. hopefully someone that does a setup like this can tell you in more detail if needed)

doesnt really matter nvenc doesnt hit the gpu performance so even if you would be playing a heavy gpu based game, nvenc would still perform the same and your framerate drops by 1-2fps if even

Be aware, the NVENC is made for Lan streaming or local recording, it seems to need more bitrate to look good than the normal x264 encoding and thus cannot be recommended for an online stream.
