Question / Help NVENC - High encoding CPU usage message in OBS

Hi,

Finally I found good settings to stream at good quality & stable gameplay in cs:go.
The only thing that annoys me is the message high encoding cpu usage when I alt tab to windows, when Im back at windows itself it dissapears.

Should I be worried about this?

common issue with nvenc you can ignore it i had the same problem about 8 months ago and it never really changed nvenc preset have no impact on it either.


as a tip i would recommend using qsv over nvenc encoding quality is way better for streaming

Yes I know and I want to do that but with quickysnc is my subalert not working anymore because of the virtual monitor. If you have a fix it would be awesome.

not sure what subalert you are using
a common one would be http://www.twitchalerts.com/dashboard/

and with that you can use CLR browser plugin and you should be fine
