NVENC Error: Device passed to the API is invalid.

If you are a content creator who prioritizes stability and quality for creative workflows including video editing, animation, photography, graphic design, and livestreaming, choose Studio Drivers. The newest version was released December 4th.

no, me and another friend just started having this error after the latest game ready driver update. i stream every single night since i got my 5080 and no issues until that last update. whatever they fixed its back again.
 
Hi there. I get this crash frequently. Could it have anything at all to do with using MSI afterburner? I’ve completely uninstalled it for now to see if I get any crashes in my next few streams.

Good point, I think it was at least open every time this occured, will try closing it and see if it crashes again. It is really random btw, I just can't replicate it, and it happened two times in the span of an hour today, I restarted my PC to see if it would change something and at least I could stream until the end with no other crashes
