Question / Help Nvenc encoder

Right now my cpu usage goes to 50% or more and drops frames when on 60fps would using the NVENC encoder help use less cpu and make it so I can record at 60 FPS using the nvidia gt 710?

Why don't you simply try and look how it will work out? It's just a mouse click in the corresponding drop down list to change the encoder.

A GT 710 can't composite a 1080p60 signal. Tried and true.
A canvas size of 720p60 is however possible.

A GT710 also doesn't have nvenc.

Actually, the 710 does have NVENC. The GT 730 however, does not.

My bad, the 730 does support NVENC as well. I was thinking of the 720, which does not.

I don’t have it yet I was think about getting it for a older system that’s gpu limited.
