Hi everybody!

So i'm the streamer of Starcraft 2 (not such a strong game 4 any hardware) and ofc i'm using obs 4 my streams. I have not so cool hardware but enough 4 streaming sc2 in 1500 bitrate. I've allways had something like 20% of CPU usage by OBS with a stream online and it was perfect! But some day ago i noticed huge lags on my stream, looked in obs and i saw 90% OF CPU USAGE!!! In silent mode without stream online its nearly 60% (not cool man). I looked 4 every thread about CPU usage here but nothing about my problem with obs.

So i try to conclude everything:
1) I have not modern hardware, but its enough 4 Starcraft 2 stream in 1500 bitrate in 1280 reso.
2) All the time before yesterday OBS was using 20% of CPU with stream online.
3) The usage of 90% of CPU started just yesterday.
4) I didnt update OBS.
5) I didnt update windows.
6) I tryed to reinstall obs, install obs 32 bit (but i need 64 bit), install Stream Labs obs. All the same
7) i'm using x264, cos my GeForce dont support NVENC :)

My hardware:
Intel Core i5 760 2.80 4 CPUs
4096 GB RAM
NVIDIA GTS 450
Windows 7

My stream settings:
1500 kb bitrate
720p
1280x720
30 fps
Very fast

Once again, i know my hardware is old, but i never had problems with a stream before yesterday. I put the screen of StreamLabs OBS just because its the last version of obs i tryed and it's on my computer right now. (On the screen the stream is offline)

You can look on my recordings of streams, when everything was good: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/402486040

Starcraft didn't get an update?

Man that is a weird problem. Not sure how to fix it, but my best advice is to try and increase process priority in OBS to Above Normal and see if that helps.

Maybe do an antivirus scan too.

So just to double check, without OBS running and only starcraft, the game is consuming 60% CPU load?

I'm playing Starcraft perfectly on 100 fps right now, problem is only with obs. No Starcraft didnt update. I've put obs in high priority all my life. And when this problem started i checked my computer with antivirus and CCleaner, no effect...
