Question / Help Noise Gate issues?

For some reason Noise gate has suddenly stopped working for me. Ive tried tons of settings but they all do the same thing. The noise gate will initially work, but the second i say a word, the mic will stay on, and it wont automatically go quiet, it just stays on even when I dont talk. And it stays on, ill try to mute my mic then unmute it and it still stays on. What could be causing this? I swear ive tried everything. Is there some special setting that could help?

The mic i am using is a Blue Yeti, and yes gain is all the way down, cardoid mode, yada yada.

Might try setting the 'close' rate just slightly lower than the 'open' rate. Could be that it's passing by that point, but as both conditions are true at that moment, the 'open' may be processed later in the stack, and take priority.

Does it still stay open if the close rate is 1dB lower than the open?
