Bug Report No ZOOM or PAN Microsoft Life Cam Studio

The Zoom and Pan options for my web cam do not work. Actually they did work but stopped all of a sudden. I uninstalled and re installed to no avail. I loaded up Xsplit and it worked fine but it still will not zoom or pan with OBS. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

This may actually indeed be a bug with OBS and affects some other devices -- I have been trying to investigate but it's been difficult to track down the exact cause. Right now, it doesn't do it for my particular devices, but it's reported often enough for most people that I'm almost sure it's a bug at this point, and I think I know at least somewhat of the reason why, but I can't exactly pinpoint it at the moment.

So if you're asking if it's just you, no, it's definitely not just you. As for an ETA on a fix, I can't really spend too much time in code that will eventually be deprecated, but I can tell you that it will be fixed eventually.

Thank you for the reply. Even when it worked with OBS is would be intermittent. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't work. Well hopefully it will get sorted out at some point.

I was messing around with the settings and I can get the camera to Zoom Pan and Tilt if I set the Device Settings for my Microsoft Life Cam Studio Webcam to 1280x720 inside OBS. Once I set it to 1920x1080p it will not let you adjust the Zoom Pan or Tilt. It works perfectly in xsplit but not OBS. I can live with 720p for my Webcam for now until this gets sorted out. I need the Zoom function to get my green screen to function.
