Question / Help No sound on vid playback

Hi I have no sound playback on either the game capture itself or my microphone even though its showing that OBS is picking up the sounds while i have my OBS opened. If anyone can help that would be great dont know what steps to take. Someone please help

Also, did you try to playback the video in different video players? VLC player for example normally works best, while especially Windows Media Player can have problems with flv and mp4 files, as well as with audio tracks in certain formats.

I ended up fixing it for that problem. Changed the audio n settings com mp3 format to the AAC and I was able to hear everything. Just took a looong bit of trial and error. Thanks for replying though.
