I was successfully streaming like 2 months ago fine to twitch.tv, i have 60 mbps down and 10mbps upload..... Ive used both Xplit and OBS, and no matter what settings i try, my stream buffers, but says im not dropping any frames or anything. I posted obs logs on their forums and they said it looks perfect. on xsplit, no matter what settings i test a connection with, it gives me the yellow dot, even 200kb/s. my computer has the following specs:

i5 2400 @ 3.2ghz
Radeon R9 270
16gb ram
120gb ssd

the stream just randomly buffers, but i dont lag in game, the VoD doesnt show lag, and it says im dropping no frames and holding steady at the bitrate i set. I do private uploasd tests to the same areas and im pulling 9mb/sec.

are the twitch servers just trash?

Any help is appreciated!

It's a download issue between the Twitch servers and your computer. There's not much you can do about it, other than continue to lower your bit rate, and that might not even fully help. Not everyone who watches your stream will have the buffering though.

It does not matter what your download or upload speeds are. In the end what matters is the REAL connection speed between your computer and twitch's servers. It seems that the ingest connection is fine, but that your video server connection is bad, and that is MOST likely Twitch's fault yes.

Solution: Wait, see if the issue cures itself. If not, come back. :)

Did you burn money? No, I dont think so.
