Hello,

I just recently started using OBS as a buddy of mine who uses it does and has his setting down for the 360 already.
Unfortunately he is deployed and will not be returning until later in june.

So if you guys would be able to help here that would be great.

My setup so far is I have the Astros as the default on the computer and the Astros selected as the desktop audio device
I have my USB Mic as the MicroPhone/Aux Device

My WebCam and Elgato Stream video just fine but I found out today that im not even streaming audio into the video.

I use a samsung monitor to play on the xbox via a HMDI Cable and I use my old Tv monitor for my PC monitor.
I am curious, maybe because im using a monitor with no speakers on it that im not getting any audio? but then again, I have the astros connected to the xbox for audio but plugged into the PC for the default speakers.

I was told that you can not get gameplay audio and chat audio without using a kinect mic but for the 360 it should work, and i know it does because my buddy has mastered the set up! haha.

I will keep doing my research and see if i can figure it out but if you guys could give me your input that would be awesome!

Thanks for the Free Program, its really easy to manage and stream, im just having minor issues that im sure im doing incorrectly!

If you're using the xbox you need to make sure the xbox isn't set to surround sound, and that the sound is going out your HDMI.

If you could give us a log file, we could see how you have it configured: http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/problem-make-sure-to-post-a-log-and-or-crash-dump-howto.97/

Echo is almost always due to watching your stream while streaming. Desktop audio capture is active, so it will pick up audio from anything you play on your desktop, which means it will pick up the audio of your stream and stream/echo it.
