Question / Help No Desktop Audio

I was streaming earlier through StreamLabs OBS and I was going to use OBS to record gameplay. However my desktop audio isn't getting detected even as I am playing music.

Without having SLOBS open, OBS is still unable to detect audio.


I also don't know if this is an issue but it always minimizes when I try to open OBS as well.

My brother is having this exact same problem and we have no clue how to fix it. All desktop audio is shut off when he was OBS open but the second he closes it, he can hear everything through his computer. We are trying to record videos but we can't because he can't hear anything. If anyone knows how to solve this please help us out!
