Question / Help No Chat Audio?! Help!

When i stream or record OBS can hear me just fine and it can also hear the game. However it cannot hear the steam chat or skype and it is really frustrating me. I tried other programs and still the same issue. I have the settings on the default. I have astro a40's if that means anything. Please help me!

Please also post a log so someone can help you.
 
First things first: your stream has some serious performance issues, which you should probably sort out. Also, don't use monitor capture with Windows 7! It's really laggy, especially if you have Aero enabled (which you do).
You might want to decrease framerate if removing the monitor capture doesn't fix many of your frames coming in late.

Also, this happens about a minute after you start streaming:

16:16:59: Device 'Headset Microphone (4- ASTRO MixAmp Pro           )' reacquired.
Did you reset it on purpose?

I reset them on purpose to see if it would make a difference, sense the stream still could only hear me and not them. still no differnece and okay. thanks for your help so far.
 
I don't see anything wrong in the log besides the performance issues, and admittedly have never used Astros, but I might still be able to help.
Go into your OBS settings, and click the audio tab. Under "Desktop Audio Device", check if your A40s are listed (it should say "4- ASTRO MixAmp Pro" or something). If not, what is there? If they are listed, select those and try.
