Question / Help No audio out of game capture, or mic have already read other troubleshoots with no avail =(

hi! first thank you for taking the time to read my problem. just bought a new (new to me) pc. just installed a new Radeon RX 560 GPU.. old pc everything audio worked great. downloaded all my software, obs, settings for video is perfect now! no more lag and i can run on 60 FPS but now none of my audio is working ?? here is my log:

i see it say failed to initialize mic and game capture but why would that happen..havent downloaded VLC but i didnt run VLC on my last rig and everything worked

Windows extremely out of date; this version has known issues with OBS. Update.

Also check that OBS has permission to access cameras and microphones in security settings.

Seems to indicate OBS does not have permission to access microphones.

thank you narcogen!! i just updated windows and restarted, is now up to date I just bought the GPU literally yesterday and installed last night and downloaded and installed all the online driver downloads (came with a disc copy of drivers, but said on paper is only for install without internet, that the best option is to download online.. maybe i should install disk too? about to check mic permission, you are a Godsend!
