Question / Help No Audio from PS4 since Update 4.00(PS)

Good morning!

I have been using an Avermedia Live Gamer HD for about a year now. I had my setup working the entire time with my normal setup...

PS4---HDMI--->Live Gamer----HDMI/DVI--->Monitor

Always had my PS4 sound coming through my PC headsets with no delay by checking "Output audio to desktop".

Ever since the PS4 4.00 Update I have not been able to hear my PS4 through OBS anymore. I have connected the HDMI to my tv to make sure it wasnt on the PS4/HDMI cables end and the sound is there. So now I am stuck and really need some help! Any other info I can provide or logs I can give just let me know. I thought I had a pretty good grasp on all the tech/hardware but this has eluded me. Spent 2 hours already trying different options and settings. THANK YOU in advance for any help!!

P.S. not saying the ps4 update was the issue but just giving a time frame to when the problem occured

Is HDCP enabled?

no hdcp. as i said i am getting video but no audio. nothing is muted. the devices on ps4 are even set up correctly

Maybe the 4.0 update changed the output audio settings. Going as 5.1 when the Avermedia expects 2.0, or vice versa. Otherwise I have no idea, myself. You might try other sources to send to the Avermedia to establish that it too actually works.
