Question / Help New Webcam Crashing OBS

I've been streaming on Twitch using OBS and it has been flawless so far. So after a good month or so of success I decided to invest into a new webcam. I decided to pick up the c970 because it was the top ranked one on amazon and looked like a decent budget webcam.

When it arrived I decided to set it up immediately as it seemed pretty easy to do. I previewed it and it seemed to work flawlessly however when I tried to stop the preview obs crashed. I figured it was fine since the preview did indeed work. However when I decided to play the game and use "start stream" instead the game audio started to loop so I tried to end it through task manager but it wouldn't close. I then tried to stop my stream but then obs froze and stop responding. Overall a frustrating experience. So I'm pretty much looking for any suggestions that might be able to help me out before I ship this webcam back to amazon.

and hopefully I logged this correctly

Did u Install the Webcam Software? I have the Same Problems with my c520 for a while. After alot testing i figured out, that i have to activate the cam in the scene after i start the Stream. This Dont let obs Crash. The strange thing Is, since i Do this for few times i have no more Problems. And i do nothing like driver Update e.g.

My capturecard has this issue too. Just like the cam, and now it Is gone. I Dont Know what ive done to fix this.

I click Start Stream and it takes few seconds to bring everything up. It takes a while, but it brings all the stuff up.

Dont Know If Its an Hardware Problem or a videosource (obs) Problem. Capture and Webcam comes booth from the videosource.

Have u Config the webcam as an global Source?

Recommended would be to enable aero and also increase scene buffering to a minimum of 700ms (you can go higher if you are having issues with AV sync with cam. aside from that, you could try and make your cam a global source, but that mainly only helps if you are having trouble changing scenes.
