Hello

I started using OBS recently and i have a bit of a problem with the settings. My goal is to stream various games starting with RTS/MOBAs and ending with FPS / 3rd person games (like Watch_dogs) possibly in 720p / 30fps, I need help with any crucial settings like Bitrate etc. I've also noticed high ping during streaming online games, not sure if i something can be done about it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is my PC / connection info:
Intel Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30Ghz
8gb ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (i know its crap, ordering a new card in 1-2weeks)

Connection speed from speedtest.net
61.19Mbps Download Speed
2.94Mbps Upload (not sure why its so low but well)

So i guess thats about it. As i said before any help is greatly appreciated.

Speedtest is worthless for livestreamers. It doesn't test using the same method of communication that livestreaming uses.
Enable 'minimize network impact' in the settings to help with your ping a little.

The 'sweet spot' for non-partnered streamers is 2000kbps, 720p, 30fps. Much past that, and an i5 runs out of gas pretty quick in any case.
