Hi I just downloaded the latest Windows version for the first time.
At the end of the Installation Wizard, there's a check box that says "Launch OBS Studio" when finished. But it never launches. If I go to the Start menu to run OBS Studio, I get a message saying it's already running. In Task Manager, I can see there's an OBS process running. If I choose "Launch Anyway," all I get is a second OBS process in background but no app window. (And there's no OBS icon in the bottom taskbar where app icons usually appear, so it's not like the window's minimized)
So....How do we get an actual "OBS Studio" window to appear?
I've seen other posts* on the forum that involve deleting old OBS settings or scenes, but....this is my first time using OBS, so those directories are already empty (e.g. I tried "Jim's Answer", but there was nothing to delete in %appdata%\obs-studio\basic\scenes ).
I saw another post about deleting something called TeamViewer, but I've never heard of that. My Windows setup is pretty basic.
Tried re-installing, no effect.
Thanks.
