Question / Help New to streaming.

Hey guys.
I hate to sound like a broken record.... But Im just trying to start up my own stream. Im streaming games like Wildstar and Elder Scrolls Online. Im having few issues with OBS (I think). I started off with Xsplit Gamecaster and didn't have to much issues. But I really want to use OBS.
I'm getting what I think is frame rate issues where my stream isn't loading most of the time and when it does, it just lags all over the show. I've watched "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgSZJUtLpBY" and followed most of the tips in this video.
and the tips in "https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...ing-too-long-to-encode-read-this-first.23334/" but still have major issues.
My net speed seems ok with with around 80 - 100mbs Download and around 5 mbs at upload at peak and around 7 - 8mbs upload the rest of the time.
My hardware is
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 6GIG VRAM
and 16 Gigs or ram.

Video Encoding: x264

It seems your connection isn't as good to twitch as it is to your speed test site (which is typical).

Try this tool for your region and post a screenshot of the results. run it a few times to see if the results are the same:

Also, even for 1800 bitrate 45fps is to much, I would personally lower that to 30fps just for your viewers sake, your per frame quality will go way up just by doing so,
 
Program wouldn't run. Missing msvcr120.dll. If my speed to twitch isnt great is there nothing I can really do about it?
Also I will try lower the FPS for sure. What is Xsplit doing that OBS isnt to make my stream work?

look at what bitrate xsplit was using and what ingest they were pointing to.
Yes, you'll need Microsoft C++ redistributable, there is a link on the site I sent to you.
 
Not looking flash lol... I am using the Sydney server because im in New Zealand. And I cant with that version of Xsplit. thats why I really want to use OBS.

That is quite the latency on those other servers. are you on a satellite or wireless connection?

with the testing showing a max of 2000 bitrate, you'll want to use no more that 1500-1600 birate since audio bitrate isn't calculated in

No, just ethernet cable straight from the router/modem. Ill run the test in the morning and see if the speeds are the same. thanks again!
