Question / Help New to Streaming in need of Advice

Hi guys as the title states I'm new to all this streaming.
I've been trying to figure out the best settings for a nice stable stream.
But I also want to be able to deliver a nice looking stream not a blocky pixelated stream.

So I'm guessing if I go low on the bitrate settings my stream will look like crap.

I'm wanting to stream @ atleast 1280x720 @30FPS would love to go higher in both resolution and 60 FPS. But I'll worry about that later for now I just want a nice looking stable stream.

I have included a speed test and a pc spec. I hope this is enough info.

I would also like to hear your thoughts on my upload results is the result normal or should I be calling my ISP concerning it.

a few issues:

1. crossfire doesn't work well with the original OBS. If you use this version it is strongly advised to disable crossfire/SLi setups.. OBS MultiPlatform does have a multi GPU option in game capture which might work with crossfire.

2. i5, this CPU should be alright for 720@30, but 720@60 is starting to get close to max of that CPU while playing a game. This is because OBS uses multithreading very well. probably better than most programs/games.

3. Run this twitch bandwidth test for your region since speedtests mean almost nothing with streaming. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/tech-support/478845-twitchtest-twitch-bandwidth-tester
Post a screenshot of the results.

4. Lastly, when asking for help, or advice, it it best to post a log after streaming for 5 minutes or more like this:

forgot to mention I disabled my sli as you suggested

Also the computer is just being used to stream ..I'm gaming on my xbox one and using a Elgato HD60 to capture my gaming.

well since you are using the elgato instead of a game, you could probably drop the preset to faster or maybe fast at the lowest. change your bitrate to 2500 as well, which will be easier on viewers.

with dropping the CPU preset, watch CPU usage so it doesn't go over 80% at any given time (especially during fast movement in game). If you peg out over 90% raise the preset back up one level.
