Question / Help New problem with broadcasting and XBox 1

This is more of an XBox One issue but I'm not sure. What I'm doing right now is using 2 monitors. One for full screen twitch and another to use OBS. When I start twitch on xbox 1 first before I start streaming it gives me this error:

"Could not access the specified channel or stream key. This could be because the key/channel is invalid, or because the server still thinks you are logged in. rtmp://live.justin.tv/app: NetStream.Publish.Rejected (Authentication Failed.)."

I have changed stream keys several times with no luck. When I start OBS first then twitch for xbox 1 I get a message on xbox that the broadcast fails with no other message. Is this a OBS issue or an XBox 1 issue?
 
Ehr, you can't broadcast using both OBS and your Xbox to the same channel at the same time.
 
I'm new at this. I know for a fact that my friends are making this work as I described it. Do I just need to use a different stream key?
 
I'm pretty sure your friend isn't making it work as you described it, because that's impossible. If you get another stream key, you will be broadcasting to a different channel. Please ask your friend exactly what he does, most likely he has a capture card and he's using that to get the picture from his Xbox into OBS.
