Question / Help New PC -- Which settings should I change to coincide with my upgrade?

I expect the main difference in regards to streaming will be my processor... my old CPU was a Lynnfield i7-860, and my new CPU is a i7 4790k.

Aside from that I have 75/75 for internet.

Those should be the only factors in streaming, right?

Here are my current settings, which I kept from my previous PC:

depending on what you are playing what goal you trying to achieve.

720p30 on medium preset and most games should work on this cpu

Usually I try to get a bit more fps, maybe 45 or so.

I'm not familiar with "medium" preset, is that a new feature? I haven't configured OBS in many months. Does that automatically adjust my bitrate and quality balance?

I always aim for high quality streams as I am interested in preserving streams, but used to get complaints that the viewers would get buffering. Does this directly relate to bitrate?

Also with the new CPU, can I change from process priority class high to something else?

Thanks!
