Question / Help New PC In-Game FPS Drop

I just bought a new PC with the hopes to be able to stream and play games without worrying about any FPS drop. My PC specs are:

i7-4790 3.60Hz
Nvidia GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Edition
16gb RAM
MSI z97 PC Mate

In-game whenever I stream it seems to take a hard hit on my cpu and games like cs:go or chivalry will go below 60fps
and start lagging. I have been told that my specs should be fine for streaming at 720p 60FPS without lag so let me know
if you have any ideas or solutions to help fix this problem. It seems that top twitch streamers with similar builds can
run games without any performance issues. Thanks :)

Interesting. Yep, with that hardware you shouldn't have a problem streaming 720p@30fps.
Only issues I can see with the log are encoding on High (Twitch wants Main as it's supported better on Apple junk), your network connection is kind of flaky, and you're running at 3500kbps (non-partners shouldn't exceed 2000).
Also looks like that log came from when you were playing Rust, rather than Chivalry or cs. Might be a different story in the log with one of those, but dunno. Would have to see one.

That said, you probably should be able to stream at Medium preset with no real framerate issues, with that CPU. And it's having trouble on Veryfast? Yeah, something's wrong somewhere.

Are you running vsync-on? Try forcing on triple buffering in your GPU's control panel.

yea I was just testing different games during the log. The thing is though I may be wrong but I feel like I should not have much of an FPS drop with this pc streaming 720p 60FPS, especiallyin a game like csgo. also I get about 10upload so my internet can handle the bitrate.

I am also running v-sync off and ill try the triple buffering.
