Hi all,

Just wanted to get some feedback if my settings are up to par.

My build is ; i7 3770k 3.5ghz , gtx 660
Internet speed is : 44 down, 5.6 up

Also, sometimes when streaming and i'm playing music, I'll get alot of static sounds. Even without playing music too. Its weird.

Below are my settings, can show more if needed.

Well, I'm not sure what you mean by your settings being "up to par" but the logs look alright. You probably shouldn't be using MP3 audio, though...better stick with AAC. It's the better option in terms of quality and compatibility, and MP3 may be causing your audio glitches.

Are you having particular problems with your stream? What content are you streaming? If you're having an issue, can you post an example video?

I'm just not sure what you're looking for outside of your sound issue.

At first I didn't notice anything wrong with the playback, just the static during the silence between tracks. But it sounds like it's part of the music being the nature of Oldies production. If you are certain it isn't part of the music, then I'd place my bet on the possibility of a mediocre microphone.

Edit: I personally recommend a max of 3000kbps, your channel doesn't offer quality choices so a lot of viewers are going to struggle with viewing your unneededly high quality stream. I rather give them an adequate quality stream knowing that it's not overloading other people's connection and lagging out their connection.

Yeah its some razer headset. There's many threads about how shitty the wiring is. And how something makes it pick up the littlest sound. Its def not the oldies, was just playing that from pandora. haha :)

I have a Razor Tiamat 7.1, and the microphone is complete garbage. I don't use it, I use a USB mic instead.

You should use stream preview and alter your volumes to see where the background noise is minimized.

Are you sure that noise is coming from your microphone? Sounds like background static in your main game audio. Disable your microphone and test to find out for sure. You also haven't been very specific about your setup. If you only give us generalities to work with, you're only going to get generalities for advice.

Lol yeah, you gotta tell me where, I'm not going to watch your whole stream just for this. :P

But now that I've heard it, its pretty conclusive that its your mic.

The first 7 seconds is a prime example.
