I've been working with obs a bit to try and get a stream up on twitch. I can't seem to keep a steady stream without dropping lots of frames. I run a 10mps upstream, and I know the DL doesn't matter. I've literally tried every bitrate from 1500-3800 along with the buffer size. If I use the CBR setting I drop frames immediately rather than if I customize it I can stream for a bit (laggy) and eventually I start to go red and drop frames. Is it my CPU? Maybe GPU? I'll take any information I can get as I'm stumped at the moment myself. I'm really new to the whole streaming aspect of things.
Edit : Just tried running at 1000bit/100buf and still just dropping frames.
Edit: Turned on my CBR, set it to 500/500 still dropping frames.
