Okay so first thing is first I will get all my information out of the way so we can focus on the problem with this!

I use an: Xbox One
Elgato
Astro A40's w/ Mixamp

I have 100 mbps download and 40 mbps upload

Last but not least here is my log file https://gist.github.com/57552585f1495c1b3113
Okay So my problem is that I have a delay on between my webcam and my game. Yes I already know about changing the delay on my webcam to 1500 or depending on my system. I have done this found the perfect delay and within a minute or two it is delayed another 2 or 3 seconds again. Yes I am aware to turn down my resolution on my webcam and all that ( I even went as far as to buy a new webcam a really good one just to make sure it wasn't my webcam) but here is the one problem I have. I used that other streaming program and I did not have to change the resolution or literally anything just setup the delay and Voila it was good! Now I cannot understand why obs is not working for me no matter what I try. The reason I don't use that other streaming program is because I do not want to pay money to use it and honestly obs is easier to use. So if anyone can possibly direct me in the right direction as to what to do I would great appreciate it, because everything I have been given advice to do has not worked yet. Thank you!

You say the webcam is becoming desynced with the gameplay of your capture device. The elgato delay can vary -- it's 1400 to 1700 milliseconds usually. It shouldn't go beyond that.

If the mic is not perfectly synced up with the webcam, then what you need to do is disable the mic in audio settings, and then attach the mic to the webcam device in the webcam source properties, which will automatically sync up the mic/webcam to each other. Sometimes the webcam's set up delay can get removed by accident, which I haven't been able to determine the cause for yet, though that usually only happens with integrated laptop cameras. I have the same exact model of webcam, a C920, and I've just never experienced any issues with the webcam, and it's the one I always test with, so I can't help but feel something else is going weird here.

Does the webcam picture come before the console picture, or after?

It's also very unfortunate that you bought a USB 2.0 capture device for use with a desktop. USB 2.0 video capture devices are quite unideal for streaming because their transmission is encoded and delayed -- the ideal capture device for desktop machines are internal devices, which have almost no delay. As you can see USB 2.0 capture devices are just a serious pain to deal with (both on my end and your end)

I tried the delay ranging from 1200-1800 but each time it will be perfect but get progressively worse. I already had the mic setup with the webcam because I read that on a guide not too long ago so that solved the problem for the mic and webcam now it is just the game and webcam. The webcam and mic come before the console picture. It will sync up perfectly but than get worse and be delayed about 2-4 seconds afterwards. I have literally tried changing the delay every which way and can not figure out the reason as to why it always gets progressively more delayed. I have seen people with pretty much my exact same setup just simply setup the delay and it works but for some odd reason it just won't work for me.

I am having the exact same problem as iBokolo. I also use an Elgato and I use the same webcam, Logitech C920. On OBS, I have the audio and the webcam delay at 1500ms. When I first start streaming, everything is fine for the first 5-10 minutes and then the webcam gradually becomes desynced with the audio and gameplay as if the webcam is trying to catch up to "real time" rather than staying at the intended delay.

I don't know about iBokolo, but in my case, the webcam gradually goes back to real time (webcam picture before console picture) after being in sync with the audio and console picture for the first 5-10 minutes. It even does this in "Preview Stream." I tried disabling the mic in the audio settings and connecting it to the webcam through the source, but for some reason the "Audio Input Device" in the webcam source is greyed out. But I do have my doubts about this proposed fix, I feel like the audio would sync up with the webcam but would cause the webcam AND the audio to desync from the console picture.

As for internal capture devices, is there any brand that you would personally recommend? I might look into that and find out how easy it is to set up on my PC...I'm guessing I just have to slide it into a PCI slot.

I'd have to do some experiments with it to see if I can replicate. I happen to have an elgato but haven't had time to unbox it and use it yet.

Well, thanks for the reply. I'll keep playing around with it and changing the settings on a TEST profile. I'll let you know if I have any success.
