Hi guys I need help with getting the right settings for my OBS.

Computer Specs
  • Windows 8.1
  • Processor: AMD FX (tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor (6CPUs) ~3,5GHz
  • 8192MB RAM (8GB)
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R& 200 Series
  • Current Display: 1920x1080 (But in OBS I have it on 1280x720)
  • Upload Speed 6.13
I am play Black Ops 3 on Xbox one and PS4 I don't really play any games on the PC but if I were it would be CS:GO, Smite, and Minecraft if I wanted to play the PC games would I need a different setting for OBS than the console games? But I don't really plan on playing and streaming PC games just wanted to know.

You may need to adjust some settings, that depends on the CPU load that games will produce. If you capture the consoles with the capture card and then encode it via CPU, you have all the CPU power for encoding. If you play on that system, you will share the CPU performance between OBS and the game (+all the stuff in the background).

That rig will do 720p 30FPS without any issues, 720p 60FPS should be possible with CS:GO and Minecraft.
