Question / Help Need help with my stream

Hey guys,

I am trying to get a stream on twitch.tv working...

I already streamed a while ago with a similar connection.

My computer:

i7 970
Radeon HD 6970M Crossfire
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3-Ram

The game I want to stream is SC2...

Now my problem:
Whenever I am trying to stream, I am facing massive laggs! Due to my 1 Mbit/s upload I thought, a bitrate around 700 Kbit/s should be OK.
Well, it's not.

In fact I have to go down to 400 Kbit/s, so I can play without having laggs all the time...

All guides, suggestions and my older experience have shown, that this can't be normal...

If you could help me, I would be very grateful!
 
I tried out a few things and it is kind of weird:

When I use a slower preset, it starts lagging more, CPU usage isn't affected at all, even if I go up from superfast all the way up to slower, there is any difference in CPU usage, but I am facing more ingame spikes, when I use slower...

Shouldn't it be exactly the other way?
