Question / Help Need help with my new config. Low Upload( 1Mbps)

Hello everybody I've been streaming for a few months and absolutely love it! Here is my twitch http://www.twitch.tv/silverplaysgames. I stream mostly Minecraft and FPS games.

Now the problem. I moved, last night. I immediately set up my PC and ran a speed test. Here are the results.

These are my PC specs:

Intel i5-2500k base clock
MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H
WD Caviar Black 1TB

Here are my New OBS settings(after ready a bunch of these threads and trying to figure it out on my own):

Encoding:
Encoder: x264
Use CBR: checked
Max Bitrate: 871kb/s
Enable CBR padding: checked
Use Custom Buffer Size: checked
Custom Buffer Size: 522

Codec: AAC
Bitrate: 128
Format: 44.1kHz
Channel: stereo

Video:
Custom: 1920x1800
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Resolution Downscale: 2.00(960x540)
Filter: Bilinear
FPS: 30
Disable Aero: unchecked. I never screen cap just pull form game source.

Advanced:
Use Multithreaded Optimizations: checked
x264 CPU Preset: medium(feel like my games run slower now)
Encoding profile: main
Keyframe Interval: 2
Use CFR: checked

This is from OBS Settins Estimator
CPU Advice
  • Set FPS to 30
Game Advice
  • Try to aim for the highest bitrate possible for high motion games
  • Use game capture if possible for maximum performance.
  • Use window capture with Aero enabled if game capture is unavailable.
Network Advice
  • Your upload speed is sufficient for 480p / 720p
  • Considering lowering your buffer size and/or bitrate if you experience in-game latency
  • Enable CFR for compatibility with streaming services
  • Enable CBR for improved stream stability
  • Recommended max bitrate: 871
  • Recommended buffer size: 522

Here is test video using these settings. http://www.twitch.tv/silverplaysgames/b/538660707 Sorry for the sound echo

If you have the time any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have really gotten into this streaming thing and don't want to have to stop for three months until I move back.

Can you post your log? (Here's how)

I can already tell that your resolution is still too high for only 800kbps. I recommend downscaling to 480p or 360p. Changing to 25fps might give a small bump in quality, too.
