So basically I have an AMD card and my current settings are:
AMD HW H.264
CQP
17
And I would like to know what would the best setting be to still have a good quality pref 1080p+ but lower the file size.
I'm asking this because me and my friend started a channel where we both record 2 hours of gameplay which ends up being 30-40 gigabytes. (With my current settings a 45 min video ended up being 12GB). I'm the one that's editing and he has to send me the videofile but how could we do that easily? The files are so large I can't find a way to send it.

Raise the CQ Level to reduce file size/quality.

I have a NAS so sharing is easy.

Private torrents work great if you already know what you're doing there. There are also file transfer services. We Transfer is free up to 2GB but they have a "Pro" service that has a 200GB limit & 1TB of storage.

Before I got the NAS, I torrented & also used We Transfer free. Just need to zip the file/folder up into a multi-part archive with the parts being under 2GB. Just zip the archive, don't add any compression if you care about preserving the original file.

Could you tell me good settings for 1440p60fps? where file size wouldnt be big but the quality would still be good

I use a lower CQ Level (15) than you do & also have an Nvidia GPU but give 19 or 20 a shot & see if that works for you. You may need to run a few tests using different levels until you get the balance of size/quality you're looking for.
