Question / Help Need help with Avermediea Gamecapture HD

So I have been wanting to stream some games, capture some cool stuff and I got the Avermedia Game capture HD for a great price. It was used, but in LNIB condition, and it does work fine. I finally got it hooked up right, and have been able to record just fine, only problem is my game audio is not coming through. Its in the videos just fine, but my actual in game experience is gone down considerably, when you can just walk up and shoot me since I'm oblivious. I'm pretty new to all of this, so please be gentile lol.
 
Set the options in the capture card source to play the audio to the desktop.
Right-click, Properties, then at the right just under where you set the audio device you can choose 'direct to stream' or 'to desktop'. Use the latter.
 
I'm sorry, I realized no where did I mention its on the XBOX 360, I tried to go to the settings and play around the audio settings to no avail. I didn't get a manual with it, but in the videos on like youtube everyone else seems to have it?
