Okay so I had Windows 7 ultimate originally. Everything was fine. Got 150-200 FPS while streaming csgo. Smooth FPS while streaming dota 2, league of legends, fall out 4. But one day the games started lagging while streaming. It would say high encoding but not the high cpu usage part. The cpu is at the most at 50% when streaming. This lagging never happened before. Now, even without streaming, I get low FPS. In csgo, I get 20-60 FPS. I checked the temps of the HDD and CPU the cpu was around 30 degree Celsius and the HDD 29 degree Celsius. I had Windows 7 updates the same day. (I updated before noticing the problems).i also updated obs the same day. I uninstalled and reinstalled an older version of obs but it still didn't work. So then I thought it was Windows 7's updates that may have caused the permanent FPS drops so I updated to Windows 10 but it still didn't help. I updated all drivers and adapters. Still hasn't worked. Could it possibly be an HDD problem??? Whenever I'm in task manager it's active percentage varies from 0-100% even though I'm not running anything huge. I'm not even playing a game and it varies. Maybe I have a virus? I'm new at this thread posting so sorry idk how to include a log file.
