Hey y'all,
I am new to OBS and to streaming in general and would like some help in setting up the software. I have used the tutorial on twitch.tv and been looking on the forums here to get started. I downloaded and installed OBS as well as got my twitch account up so I can start streaming WoW/SC2. Now when I first started this morning I was able to stream on twitch although it was slow. Now overtime I hit "start" stream and switch over to WoW it freeze's and sometimes crashes.
I'm not sure why it keeps freezing? I have uninstalled and reinstalled OBS three times now as well as restart my laptop down in-between hoping something there would fix it. It was working (other than the slow part) this morning at first. It wasn't until I wanted to have some twitch alerts and went over to that website (twitchalerts.com) that I started having problems. I did remove it but it still was freezing up soon as I hit the "start" button again. Not quite sure what the problem is or how I can fix this to be able to stream while I play.
Now I am currently streaming/playing on a Macbook Pro 2013 model, now I will be upgrading soon and eventually hope to get an iMac or desktop but putting that aside I want to focus on streaming on the laptop for now.
I have put a few videos up but they don't last long as I am trying different settings, you can however view it at twitch.tv/caluinn if you would like.
I have put the crash report at the bottom of my post as well as my specs.
Any help would be appreciated!
