Question / Help Need Help Getting OBS to Stream Two Different Audio Sources

Hi! I'm just starting out streaming just for the fun of it (I highly doubt it'll ever be anything more then that) and I was wondering if somebody here could help me with an issue that I'm having currently getting things setup.

I have my game audio coming out of my desktop speakers (which is the system default) and I have my voicechat audio (Mumble, Ventrillo, etc) coming from my headset (Because the voices coming from my head just feels better. lol). The problem is that when I stream, only the desktop audio and my mic is getting picked up; so it just sounds like I'm a crazy man.

A nice person at the Twitch subreddit linked me here to get the DirectShow Audio Source plugin, and while I get that installed alright, I don't think I've got the Scenes/Sources set up right. As is, I only have one Scene set up with the Sources within being the various games I play set up as Game Capture. I was told on the subreddit to add the audio source as a Global Source and add it to the Scenes that need it.

I guess I just need help within OBS and the plug in to find out what I need to set it to in order to stream both audio feeds.

EDIT: I don't know if it'll help but here's some pictures of the setting I have within OBS and my Playback and Recording setup for my computer.

I've tried switching OBS to you my headset as default and tried to see if the plugin could pick up the games through the desktop, and it can't. I've got mumble and the global source i made with the plug in going to the same logitech headset.

What am i missing here?

This situation isn't easy to deal with in the current version of OBS, though we'll have it fixed in upcoming versions. I would recommend making all the audio go through one device for the time being if streaming, and then capturing that device.

Hi Everyone, How everybody is doing?

I am also having Audio issue, for about 2 weeks so far... very frustating

Here is my scenario.

Im a new streamer (webtelles on twitch) and i cant figure out how to use my Astro A40 mic and play music / game sounds at the same time for my Desktop Games.

On OBS I can see audio desktop audio device and microphone/aux audio device.

I choose Default for Both, on Windows 7 properties I have A40's connected to the optical input out and my mic is using the USB

My soundcard is a Soundblaster X-fi Titanium Pro. So the Sound on pc is set to:
What you hear (Optical out) and Mic A40
So, I tried, change to Audio Out of the sound card (Then I use a set of speakers, I can get audio of, but not on my mics)
I also use VAC to try emulate and copy Audio Out to Optical out - Quality sucks and lags)

Im sorry if someone had the same issue and it's already been posted, but I'm running out of ideas to fix it.

I also have done a tutorial how my connections are but seems I can only get it working when I using with my Elgato and my PS3

All I want is to be able to get game sound and pandora/youtube musics to my headset and be able to use my A40's Mic, if is not possible to use the mic, I even have a USB Yeti mic, I could use, but I rather you the mic on my A40,

I see tons of streamers using obs that have music playing with no echos and there mic works.

Please help!
Thank you all!

So a later iteration that's being worked on will be able to support what I need all in house? That would be amazing. I found a work around but it requires me to use VAC.
